Polyimide-coated copper round wire is a core material for motors operating in extreme environments within the aerospace sector. It exhibits long-term temperature resistance exceeding 200°C and short-term peak temperature resistance surpassing 260°C, along with outstanding radiation and vacuum resistance. In applications such as satellite attitude control motors and aircraft auxiliary power units (APUs), this type of coated wire can withstand intense space radiation (tolerance dose ≥10⁶ Gy) and high-altitude low-temperature cyclic impacts without insulation layer cracking or peeling.
Its extremely low volatile content (VOC≤0.01%) meets aerospace vacuum environment requirements, while its superior mechanical strength enables it to endure the severe vibrations during rocket launches, ensuring high reliability and long service life for aerospace equipment. The typical usage for a single satellite attitude control motor amounts to approximately 1.2 kilograms.
